The LaDainian Tomlinson Arby's Steakhouse Commercial Was Not A Dream
Last night, I was watching Sunday Night Football when I saw those 30 seconds of pure magic pop up on my television screen. I wasn’t sure what I witnessed at first. We moved the clocks back, it was dark for like 12 hours; it was just a long day, so I thought maybe I was hallucinating?
But nope. LaDainian Tomlinson is opening a pop-up Arby’s Steakhouse for one day in Midtown Manhattan.
Go to the website to take in all its glory.
My personal favorite highlights from the website are the jersey that just says “Football” and the artsy picture of a plastic spoon.
The commercial was great. The website might be even better. But the best of all? Call the number (1-833-99-ARBYS) for an unforgettable experience where you can leave a message for LaDainian Tomlinson, hear him describe the garlic butter steak sandwich “using heavy football jargon,” hear his recommended soda pairing for both sandwiches, and more.
Unfortunately, it’s not a real steakhouse, and the pop-up shop will only be open Thursday. I’m sure this is just some viral stunt trying to steal shine away from Popeye’s, but it’s pure genius and I think I have to go Thursday for this once in a lifetime experience.
Also, this will be stuck in my head until at least Thanksgiving.
